We are committed to supply the very best produce, whether it’s from the farms of Chew Magna or the markets of Rungis, Milan and Calabria.
You might want to get playful with Morels (when they’re in season of course) or simply find Tomatoes and Salad Leaves that actually taste of something.
We source local, seasonal and speciality produce for YOUR kitchen as well as the numerous local restaurants that we supply.
Come and visit us in North Street – We feel very confident that we will have some ingredients that will surprise you!

Fresh Vegetables
Do remember when Veg tasted of something. Sweet rounded tomatoes, peppery salad leaves or radishes so strong that they would nearly make you sneeze?
While we all enjoy so much of what technology has brought us, mass food production has done no favours to our tastebuds.
Hugo’s stands for traditional values in growing Vegetables. Local where we can, seasonal and most of all – every vegetable that enters our shop is chosen by our team of food loving staff
Not just sweet. Fruit is so much more than that.
We are always on the lookout for the subtleties that make for exceptional fruit. Textures, colours, tang and tart.
If you expect more than “Just an Apple” come and see us in store to discover the varieties that we have selected this week.

Fresh FLowers
So many of the markets that we visit to source the best produce also have flower sellers and, without any thought, we just know that our selection of freshly cut flowers would add something special to the front of our North Street Shop.
When you pick up a bunch of Hugo’s flowers you can feel the love that goes into these arrangements
If you are buying fruit and Veg from Hugo’s, you probably love food nearly as much as we do.
On our travels we meet all sorts of small food producers and have hand picked a delicious range of store cupboard essentials that add to any meal.
We also sell a selection of cheese and charcuterie, Local Eggs.
Come and see us to see what’s in stock now.
